Commencement is a formal academic graduation ceremony and it is university policy that all students participating in the ceremony are required to wear academic regalia (black cap and gown). Participating in the ceremony means processing with the graduating class and appearing on the Commencement stage.
National Achiever Services is proud to partner with the University of Puget Sound for your Commencement regalia and announcement needs, with gowns made from recycled materials. There will be an opportunity to recycle your gown at the end of Commencement, if you would like.
Order Deadlines and Distribution
Early cap and gown orders placed by February 28 can be picked up at Grad Fair in Rasmussen Rotunda in Wheelock Student Center on either Wednesday, March 1 or Thursday, March 2 from noon - 4 p.m.
Final cap and gown orders must be placed by March 31. These orders can be picked up during the regalia distribution days on Monday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 9 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Rasmussen Rotunda in the Wheelock Student Center.
