Museum Hours

The museum no longer hosts drop-in open hours and all visits are by appointment only. If you'd like to tour the collection or schedule a visit for your classroom, group, etc. please email us at slatermuseum@pugetsound.edu to schedule your visit.  Due to space limitations, we cannot host groups larger than 25. Learn more about what kinds of tours we offer on our Tours Page. Please note that the museum is not open on weekends and is also closed during University of Puget Sound holidays.

Parking & Entrance into Thompson Hall

Visitors to the museum can either park in the lot directly south of Thompson Hall or find street parking around campus. If you park in the lot south of Thompson Hall, you can enter the building through the southeast doors and walk up the stairs to the museum. If you've parked elsewhere around campus, you may also enter the building through Harned Hall, which is connected to Thompson. The Harned Hall entrance is directly off N Union Ave. To get to the museum through this entrance, continue straight through the atrium and into the courtyard. Once in the courtyard, you will continue straight into Thompson Hall and find yourself directly in front of the museum.
