Intersections of Knowledge
The William T. and Gail T. Weyerhaeuser Center for Health Sciences enhance the intersections of knowledge between research and clinical work, fostering academic collaboration, and attracting top faculty and students to the University of Puget Sound. The building was completed in summer 2011 and opened to students and community clinic patients in the fall.

An inspirational building that reflects the quality and character of the college as a whole, the center anchors the south end of campus. It provides easy access to outpatient clinics and research facilities. At 42,500 square feet, the building provides the resources and flexibility needed to support new areas of study in health and behavioral sciences. Specially integrated spaces encourage cross-disciplinary interaction between the university's undergraduate departments of exercise science and psychology, graduate programs in occupational and physical therapy, and interdisciplinary programs in neuroscience.

Designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson of Seattle, Weyerhaeuser Hall meets the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.
