Students sit at a table outside Wheelock Student Center

Masks are optional, but recommended, for summer

Campus is now mask optional. With the reduced number of people occupying spaces on campus throughout the summer, we are confident in taking this less restrictive approach to our mitigation tactics. Additional significant updates for summer:

  • Voluntary asymptomatic testing will be available for students, faculty, and staff via rapid antigen test kits or PCR send-in test kits (LetsGetChecked kits), both of which are available for pickup on campus at Security Services, Wheelock Student Center (outside of CHWS), and Facilities Services. We urge you to take advantage of free testing options and free at-home test kits.
  • Participants in summer programs and conferences will be required to provide either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result (taken within 72 hours of event) to the event sponsor. See our interim events policy for more information.
  • Visitors to campus must demonstrate or affirm that they are current on their COVID-19 vaccines, including booster shots as eligible, OR provide a negative COVID-19 test result—from either a PCR or antigen test—(taken within 72 hours of event) to their campus host. See our visitor guidelines for more information.
