Technology Services utilizes an Incident Communication Plan to facilitate timely communication regarding technology maintenance and service interruptions to Puget Sound Critical Services. As part of this plan, Technology Services posts announcements on this page and encourages Puget Sound community members to request to be added to the TS Communications distribution list.

    Kaba Time Clocks: Security Maintenance [COMPLETE at 6:45 p.m.]

    Monday November 2 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.

    REASON FOR IMPACT: Technology Services will be installing a critical security patch across all PeopleSoft systems and the Kaba Time Clocks system. The systems will be unavailable intermittently between 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. this evening.

    Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

     

    SYSTEMS IMPACTED:

    ·      KACE Help Desk Ticketing System

     

    REASON FOR IMPACT:

    ·      A security certificate is expiring and will be replaced with a new one.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    ·      KACE will be intermittently unavailable during the maintenance window as the new security certificate is applied.

    ·      During this time if you need assistance during this maintenance window please call the Service Desk at x8585 or email them at servicedesk@pugetsound.edu

    ·       Technology Services schedules regular maintenance windows, generally on the second Sunday of every month, to ensure a secure, reliable computing environment. Thank you for your patience as we conduct this important work.
