The Jacobsen Series presents faculty, guest artists and alumni in collaborative, often theme-based concerts. The Jacobsen Series was established in 1984 in honor of Leonard Jacobsen, former chair of Puget Sound’s piano department. The series features our esteemed educators in action, with the spotlight focused on Puget Sound music faculty, their guests, and themed concerts! Proceeds from ticket sales support the Jacobsen Series Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to outstanding student performers and scholars.
Instrumental Ensembles perform throughout the year. They include the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Chamber Music, Jazz Orchestra, and Popular Music Ensemble.
Vocal Ensembles perform throughout the year. They include Adelphian Concert Choir, Voci d'Amici, Opera Theater, Puget Sound Singers, and Popular Music Ensemble.
