The School of Music produces a wide variety of events, more than 100 annually, that feature faculty, students, ensembles, chamber groups, and guest artists. Their number and breadth speak to both our tradition and commitment to musical performance. Visit the School of Music home page for a listing of upcoming events and times.

The Jacobsen Series presents faculty, guest artists and alumni in collaborative, often theme-based concerts.

Faculty Recitals highlight faculty in solo performances. Featuring Puget Sound Organist Wyatt Smith, the Organ Series includes the annual Bethel Schneebeck Organ Recital and six Friday afternoon concerts known as Organ at Noon.

Instrumental Ensembles perform throughout the year. They include the Symphony, Wind Ensemble, and Concert Band.

Choral Ensembles also perform every term. They include the Adelphian Concert Choir, Voci d'Amici, Puget Sound Singers.

Student Chamber Ensemble concerts include performances by student string quartets, piano trios, percussion ensemble, brass ensemble, brass quintet, flute ensemble, woodwind quintet, guitar ensemble, and jazz combos. There are student-run organizations as well that include What She Said, Garden Level, Underground Sound, The Timberfolk, and Pep Band.

Jazz Concerts are performed throughout the year by the Jazz Orchestra and student jazz combos.

Stage Productions alternate between opera scenes (performances of selected scenes from operas, operettas, and musicals) and fully staged productions.
