Prof. Elliott researches marine biology through the lens of aquatic organisms' symbiotic and predator-prey interactions. He teaches both introductory biology and upper-level marine biology courses.
In order to examine how literary arts advance ideas about the self, Prof. Erving researches British Romantic period history and literature. His courses focus on European intellectual history and English literature.
Prof. Erzen researches American politics and religion, specializing in criminal justice and social movements. She teaches courses in religious studies and gender and queer studies, and directs the FEPPS program.
