The best way to get a true sense of the Puget Sound experience is by visiting.
The cornerstone of every Puget Sound visit is a two-hour session that includes both an information session led by an admission counselor and a student-led campus tour. These sessions are offered each weekday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., with the exception of university holidays.
In addition to the two-hour session, the following optional activities are available when classes are in session (September to May*):
Visit options during the summer (May 14 to Sept. 7) include 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. information sessions and campus tours, as well as interviews and School of Music Tours.
Want to visit in the next five days? No problem! Just come to campus (No need to register!) and visit the Office of Admission located in Jones Hall, Room 115. If you have questions call us at 253.879.3211.
Please plan on arriving at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your session in order to ensure that you receive a complete campus visit experience.
The Office of Admission is open year-round Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During breaks, exam periods and university holidays, these schedules may be altered. For more specific closure information, please consult the Academic Calendar.
Group visits are offered from late September through April each year, excluding weekends and holidays. We can accommodate groups of up to 50 students, and we require a chaperone for every 10 students. We accept requests for group tours from Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. with an optional hour-long information session at 10 a.m., as well as Wednesdays at 2 p.m. with an optional hour-long information session at 3:00 p.m.
