CARES Act Emergency Funding

Update July 29, 2020

CARES Act emergency student assistance is available for students enrolled for Fall 2020 who have unexpected and critical financial needs relative to technology, food and/or housing insecurities or to assist with textbooks and/or course supplies.  CARES Act Award amounts will be limited to $500 -$1000 as we make efforts to support as broad a population of our student community as possible.  Applications are reviewed weekly, and funds are disbursed directly to the student via e-refunds whenever possible.

We are happy to announce that the university has received funding under Section 18004(c) of the federal CARES Act to support emergency financial aid grants to students for expenses incurred beginning March 13, 2020 through May 15, 2020, that are directly related to the disruption of campus operations due to the coronavirus pandemic. Availability of support for periods beyond May 15 will be announced on the CARES Act application page soon.
