Kittredge Hall
Sculpture and installation work made by students Roy Kersten-Hellikson, Irene Harris-Odum, Sarah Burer, Ruby Moon Hodapp, as part of summer research. The Summer Research Program in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (AHSS) is designed to encourage and support independent research projects. This exhibit seeks to fully share the work created by these students.
Bringing together artwork connected to Puget Sound, this exhibition explores recent ceramics history. Craft and irreverence shape the selections from the University of Puget Sound Collection.

Luis Alonso Sánchez has been selected for the International Artist-in-Residence Program in Fall 2026. The program is sponsored by collaboration between the Latina/o Studies Program and the Department of Art & Art History. Additionally, generous co-sponsorship from the Catherine Gould Chism Fund for the Humanities has made this cross-disciplinary residency possible.
See the best work from art classes in the last year. The opening night party and awards (with prizes) on Monday, Jan. 26th, 5 p.m. is the first view of the show. The Art Students Annual show is a Puget Sound tradition. Students enter work from art classes, and a juror selects artwork for the show, which will be in Kittredge Gallery for four weeks.

Elise Richman’s High Lonesome paintings and drawings serve as encounters with the habitats and landscapes on tributaries of the Snake River that provide pristine habitat for salmon imperiled in large part by four dams on the lower Snake River.

Invisible Currents grows out of observation, wandering, collecting, and the slow act of paying attention. Bernstein’s work moves through weather systems, wing movement, shifting water, migration patterns, turbulence, and the strange rhythms connecting living things across air, land, and sea.

This annual event showcases our graduating seniors' talent and creativity, offering a glimpse into their artistic journeys throughout their time here at the University of Puget Sound.
Through gallery exhibitions and artist lectures focused on expanding students exposure to core issues in contemporary art, Kittredge Gallery serves as a teaching tool for the Puget Sound Art & Art History Department and supports the liberal arts curriculum of the university as a whole. With its history of strong exhibitions by regional and nationally recognized artists, Kittredge Gallery also contributes to the broader cultural community of the Pacific Northwest.
