Adelphian Concert Choir Home Concert 2025

The Adelphian Concert Choir, conducted by Steven Zopfi, with Jinshil Yi, piano, performs a home concert following a week-long mini tour. The Curtis High School A Capella Choir and Dorian Singers, conducted by Bella Garcia y Lauer with Kaiden Skinner, piano, will participate in the program. Admission is complimentary.

Join us for the Puget Sound Jazz Orchestra presenting "Women in Jazz," directed by Jeff Chang featuring music by innovative female composers Tracy Yang, Megan Vinther, Renee Rosnes, and Mary Lou Williams.

Enjoy a variety of short performances by Puget Sound music students. Recitals are on select Wednesdays at noon, free and open to the public. 

The program for April 16 will include performances by Iraniel Gonzalez Molina '25 with Jinshil Yi, piano; vocalists Lucy Ferguson '27, Amelia Stiles '27, Abby Jennings '27, and Ruby Gunter '26; and Precious Wilson '26, with Jinshil Yi.

Keyboard Series: Harpsichord Recital

As part of this year's Keyboard Series, American concert organist Wyatt Smith will perform a solo harpsichord recital featuring works by Bernardo Storace, Dieterich Buxtehude, Anna Bon, Herbert Howells, and Johann Sebastian Bach. 

This performance is free and open to the public.

Piano Masterclass with Rachel Naomi Kudo

The School of Music is pleased to welcome guest pianist Rachel Naomi Kudo for a piano masterclass as part of the 2024-25 Keyboard Series. 

Kudo, first prize winner of the International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig, captivates audiences worldwide with her “heartfelt, courageous, and flawless playing” (Lübecker Nachrichten). Hailed as a “thrilling” artist of “exceptional artistic merit and meticulous precision,” her performances are a powerful testament to her profound artistry and deep musical insight.

The School of Music is pleased to welcome guest pianist Rachel Naomi Kudo for a recital concert as part of the 2024-25 Keyboard Series. Kudo will be performing music by Chopin, Bach, and Schubert.
