Immortal Beloved, the Northwest Sinfonietta’s performance conducted by Mei-Ann Chen, will explore one of music’s most enduring mysteries: the true identity of Beethoven’s "immortal beloved," referenced in the composer’s love letters. The program will include a new violin concerto composed by Nancy Ives for Concertmaster Denise Dillenbeck.

School of Music’s Puget Sound Piano Trio -- Maria Sampen, violin; Alistair MacRae, cello; and Ronald Rolim, piano, will close the program with Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for violin, cello, and piano.
