This event provides opportunities for music educators to share ideas, sharpen skills, deepen knowledge and celebrate the power of music education. Whether you’re a veteran teacher, a new educator, an administrator, or a student preparing for your career, this Music Education event is for you. Clock hours are available.

Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra

Join us for Puget Sound's Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anna Jensen featuring the 2025-26 Concerto-Aria winners Ethan Chythlook '26, violin, and Levin Kapur '28, flute. The program, titled Finding New Breath in Sound, will include works by Joseph Bologne, Otar Gordeli, Florence Price, Pyotr IIyich Tychaikovsky, and more.

 

Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra

Join us for Puget Sound's Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anna Jensen. The program will include Romanian Folk Dances, by Bartók; Starburst, by Montgomery; Lullaby, by Gershwin; Fate Now Conquers, by Simon; and Symphony No. 7 by Beethoven.

Puget Sound Jazz Orchestra with Nnenna Freelon

Join us for the Puget Sound Jazz Orchestra directed by Jeff Chang performing with American jazz singer and 7X Grammy nominee Nnenna Freelon. Freelon is a singer, composer, producer, and arranger who has worked with renowned artists such as Ellis Marsalis, Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, and more.

Puget Sound Wind Ensemble

Join us as the Puget Sound Wind Ensemble presents The Art of Living  music inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, curated and conducted by Gerard Morris featuring soloists Brittany Harrington, bassoon, and Tim Christie, viola.
