Lecture and Performance: Balourdet String Quartet

Join us for a lecture/performance featuring Brahms' String Quartet no. 3, Op. 67, by the Balourdet String Quartet, the String Quartet in Residence at Seattle Chamber Music Society. This event is free and open to the public.

This performance will be preceded by a chamber music master class and Q&A session from 4-6 p.m.

Chamber Music Master Class And QA: Balourdet String Quartet

Student groups from the University of Puget Sound Chamber Music program will be coached by the Balourdet String Quartet, the String Quartet in Residence at Seattle Chamber Music Society. This class will be followed by a Q & A session with the quartet. This event is free and open to the public.

Also, don't miss the quartet's lecture and performance at 7:30 p.m., featuring Brahms' String Quartet no. 3, Op. 67.

Join us for a piano masterclass with School of Music special guest Yevgeny Yontov as part of the 202526 Keyboard Series. This event is free and open to the public.

South Sound Strings Harp Ensemble

South Sound Strings Harp Ensemble, directed by Patricia McNulty Wooster, will perform a public concert which will feature solo harp and harp ensemble music. The ensemble includes college students as well as members of the public. We invite you to join us for an evening of wonderful music!

South Sound Strings Harp Ensemble is a non-credit ensemble within the Community Music Department. 

Wind Ensemble Reunion Concert

Join Wind Ensemble alumni for a special reunion gathering celebrating the music, friendships, and shared experiences that made their time at the University of Puget Sound memorable. Celebrating Dr. Gerard Morris's 17 years as the Director of Bands, attend the Wind Ensemble alumni concert to reconnect and continue the celebration with fellow alumni afterward. 

Free and open to all Summer Reunion Weekend attendees and the public.

 

Community Music Student Recital in Kilworth Memorial Chapel

This student recital will feature solo piano and organ music performed by children, teens, and adult musicians from the University's Community Music Department. You will hear classical repertoire and music from several other different time periods brought to the stage by Community Music students who study with Dr. Wyatt Smith and Dr. Xiaohui Yang.   

This is a free event, open to the public. No tickets are required.
