Join us for the Puget Sound Wind Ensemble concert conducted by Rachel Zephir. The university is delighted to welcome Zephir, joining the School of Music this fall as assistant professor and director of bands. 
 

Rachel Zephir recently completed a Doctor of Musical Arts in wind band conducting from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Jason Fettig, formerly the conductor of The President's Own. 

Zephir is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music and has degrees in trumpet, music education, and wind conducting; and also has completed a Master of Music in music education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Read Zephir's full bio
