Blues Vespers - great blues, poetry, and a little something to think about - is back for its 8th season at Kilworth Memorial Chapel.  For more than 27 years, Blues Vespers has created space for members of the Tacoma community to connect around local (and sometimes national) Blues artists in a meaningful and spiritually inclusive context.  Hosted by Blues Vespers founder Pastor Dave Brown and University Chaplain Dave Wright, these free monthly performances are open to everyone.

All members of the campus and community are invited to the Fall 2026 Swope Lecture on Tuesday, September 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Schneebeck Concert Hall.  This fall's Swope Lecturer is Mathew S. Nosanchuk, the Lerner Family Associate Dean for Public Interest and Public Service Law at George Washington University.

Simplistic and inaccurate stories about the history of science are common. How can more complicated and accurate histories improve our ability to navigate issues that concern science in the present? This talk will take on common yet historically inaccurate tales about Charles Darwin to illustrate why doing history with close attention to both context and primary sources is important.

Join us for Puget Sound's Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anna Jensen. The program, Musical Postcards, will include works by Gioacchino Rossini, Miroslay Skoryk, Jose Elizondo, and Georges Bizet. This event is free and open to the public.
 

Musical Revolutions will explore moments throughout music history where composers challenged conventions, blended influences, and reshaped musical culture. The program will trace artistic disruption and innovation across eras, highlighting works that pushed boundaries and changed the musical landscape.  
 

Join us for Pipes Spooktakular, a Halloween organ concert featuring Wyatt Smith, American concert organist, joined by members of the Adelphian Concert Choir. This concert is free and appropriate for all ages; costumes are encouraged!

The program will include works by Max Reger, Robin Dinda, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Josef Rheinberger.
