  • facultycoms@pugetsound.edu

This mailbox is used for campus-wide communication about matters of faculty governance and by the Provost's office for announcements. It is also where committee members send minutes for posting on the university’s website.

  • Faculty Conversation SoundNet Site

This Sharepoint site contains documents under discussion by the faculty, including strategic planning documents, annual goals, Board of Trustee workshop readings, work group materials and other resources.

  • Committees membership lists and minutes

Many of these materials are not viewable from off-campus computers, unless you have installed the special software (VPN) provided by Technology Services to make that possible.

Puget Sound enjoys a very healthy collaboration among Academic and Student Affairs colleagues. We partner in residential first-year seminars, upper-division academic-residential programs, Student Alert Group, student orientation, and many other programs and events.

  • Commencement

  • Daedalus

It has become a tradition for the faculty that, twice a semester, we meet as the Daedalus Society, to have dinner together and to hear one of our colleagues give a presentation on current work. All faculty are members of the Society, and there are no fees -- only the cost of the dinner (which is subsidized by the Dean's office). All of us are invited to bring guests, especially students, spouses or partners. Look for invitations through facultycoms.
