Jeff Brahe and the Andé Marimba Band

Jeff Brahe ’11 and Andé Marimba offer a fresh perspective on the ancient sounds of traditional music from Zimbabwe. Combining marimba, mbira, drum, and hosho with an occasional Western instrument, the band’s songs include traditional and contemporary compositions. Add to this foundation a variety of modern influences, and you have an irresistible, highly danceable blend of sound.

Lunch Concert: THE PLAYTONICS

Celebrating the opening of the new school year is the 5 piece jazzy soul pop band “Playtonics” that was born in 2018 has blossomed 5 years later into a sometimes 8 or 9 piece jazzy jam band with a horn section. They are friends who unpack universal thoughts of love & life in their music and share an appreciation of jazz and funk.

Puget Sound Wind Ensemble

Join us for Puget Sound's Wind Ensemble, conducted by Gerard Morris, as they present, "Lasting Light," performing Overture in Five Flat by Julie Giroux; October by Eric Whitacre; Molly on the Shore by Percy Grainger; Lasting Light, by Viet Cuong; and English Folk Song Suite by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
