As faculty and staff members, we each have a responsibility to safeguard institutional data. One of the easiest ways to keep data secure is to use university approved systems. Not sure what systems are available? We’ll provide an overview and specific tips on managing access.

This event is part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. To learn about other activities promoting security awareness during October, please visit pugetsound.edu/CAM2025.

Monthly Contemplative Practice: Breathing With Trees

Each month, the Chaplaincy invites members of the campus community to a different contemplative practice, a way to pause mid-day and connect with a sense of something bigger than yourself.  This month Dave Wright will lead a short time centering the story of the Japanese Cherry Trees alongside a guided breathing exercise.  Gather on the sidewalk between the Sequoia and the Cherry Trees at 12:15; we'll wrap up by 12:45.  This will involve walking on (hopefully dry) grass, so be mindful (ha!) of your footwear.
