With Prof. Carolyn Weisz, Emerita Professor of Psychology. The Magee address was established in honor of John B. Magee, Professor of Philosophy and Religion. Prof. Magee was an ordained United Methodist minister and an outstanding professor, author, and mentor who was one of the driving forces in establishing a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Puget Sound in 1986.

Members of the campus community and alumni are invited to gather as we grieve the unexpected death of Peggy Perno, Director of Student Accessibility and Accommodations, and celebrate her twelve years of remarkable work and advocacy at Puget Sound. This casual gathering will feature remarks from a small number of speakers, a chance for members of the community to share stories and memories, and then time for us to share in a reception and continue conversation as we honor our friend and colleague.
