DataFest 2026 - Judging

University of Puget Sound will be hosting DataFest during the weekend of March 27-29, 2026! It is a team based, friendly competition that takes place over a weekend of hanging out with friends and analyzing a secret dataset to win prizes and do Data For Good!

It is open to teams of 2-5 students from any area of study. We also seek volunteers from the community and/or alumni to serve as mentors and judges.

Campus Easter Celebration

Members of the campus and surrounding communities are invited to gather for this casual, reflective celebration of Easter, led by University Chaplain Rev. David Wright '96.  All are welcome to be present, participate, and/or observe in the ways that fit your own spiritual location and journey.

Earth Day Panel - Roadless Rule

Come join the Sierra Club, National Parks Conservation Association, PSO, Save Our Wild Salmon, Students, and Community members for an Earth Day event! We are holding a panel discussion of the Roadless Rule. The 2001 Roadless Rule established prohibitions on road construction, reconstruction, and timber harvesting in almost 60 million acres of Inventoried Roadless Areas. The USDA has announced plans to rescind this rule, potentially opening 45 million acres of public land to timber harvest. 

Building a Better Immigration System: A Conversation with Sara Ramey

Join us for an engaging discussion on the realities of the U.S. immigration system and how it can be improved.

Drawing on 13 years of experience working in detention centers, immigration courts, and with government agencies, immigration attorney Sara Ramey (IPE ’05) will explore where the system stands today and how it can improve. The conversation will focus on three key areas:

Each year, Career and Employment Services reaches out to students to gather nominations for those faculty and staff who have made a difference by supporting their career exploration or inspiring their career goals. Join us at a reception to honor those nominees and to express gratitude for the invaluable role they play in shaping the professional journeys of our students. We will also announce the Faculty and Staff Career Champions of the Year.
