Puget Sound Book Artists Annual Exhibit
Annual exhibit of the Puget Sound Book Artists. This will be the 13th year the Collins Library has hosted this exhibit of regional artists. We welcome both on-campus and off-campus visitors to this exhibit. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Concert: Vicci Martinez with Puget Sound's Juke Joint
Tacoma's own Vicci Martinez is a singer/songwriter with a musical style firmly rooted in the acoustic rock tradition, whose compositions are personal and often autobiographical. She placed 3rd in the premiere season of NBC's The Voice, and has since released multiple albums and received critical acclaim for her live performances. As an actress, Vicci received her big break portraying Daddy on the acclaimed Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Vicci is currently the voice of Frida Kahlo on the reboot of the animated comedy series Clone High on HBO Max.
Book signing celebration with Professor Rebecca Wellington
Students and the public are invited to hear about and celebrate Dr. Wellington's new book, "Who Is A Worthy Mother?-An Intimate History of Adoption. Cake and refreshments will be provided, as well as an opportunity to get a book signed.
Dr. George Tomlin Evidence Symposium
Please join us for the 2nd Annual Dr. George Tomlin Occupational Therapy Evidence Symposium to be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. This will be our second event that combines presentations of both our traditional evidence projects and our OTD doctoral capstone projects. The symposium will be held in Harned Hall on the University of Puget Sound campus, parking and entrance off of Union Ave.
Nature Yoga
Come join us for yoga on April 18 at 5 p.m. for yoga on Todd Field! It is completely free and a good de-stressor! The session will taught by Tiffany Fields. Please bring your own towel, mat, or blanket. In case of bad weather, the session will be held in Thomas 270.
