Summer Research Symposium 2025
The Summer Research Symposium is the interdisciplinary celebration of the tremendous research, scholarship, and creative work undertaken by Puget Sound students over the summer. Projects from nearly 90 students will be represented. These students worked closely with a faculty advisor and devoted ten weeks of full-time work to their projects over the summer.
Come check out students’ summer research as they present throughout Wheelock and the patio plaza during this come-and-go event. Light refreshments will be provided!
Orientation: Recharge Room
Join us for a calm craft activity and connect with others looking for a low-key, creative endeavor for the evening.
Orientation: Affinity Spaces
Looking to connect with other students who share one of your identities? Stop by one of the affinity rooms!
See your myPugetSound schedule for additional details, including which communities are participating and where their affinity room is located.
Orientation: RSA Information Sessions
Come learn about the Resident Student Association, the programs and activities that RSA hosts, Hall Homecoming competitions, and how to run for a Hall Council position within your residence hall. RSA is a great way to step into leadership as a first-year student and grow into other Logger leader roles.
Orientation: Logger Community Presentation (Group B)
This workshop will review the meaning of consent, provide strategies for communicating healthy boundaries in personal relationships, and explore ways to intervene when you see something of concern. Mental health counselors and other professional staff will be on-site to support those who may need it due to the content of this presentation.
