
Parents & Family Orientation 2025
Join us at Puget Sound for a special opportunity to welcome the families of our newest Loggers! Our Parent & Family Resource Sessions are designed to introduce you to the student experience and the many resources available on campus. Kick off the day with our keynote address, "Becoming a Logger," presented by Sarah Comstock, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. Then, spend the rest of the day with key offices, mingling with other parents, and exploring different parts of campus!

Becoming a Logger | 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. | Schneebeck Concert Hall
Start the day with a keynote address from Sarah Comstock, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. Learn what it means to become a Logger and how your family can be part of this exciting lifelong journey.
Build the rest of the day, your way! | 10:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
(We will break for lunch at 11:45 a.m.)
Customize your experience by attending up to four informative sessions hosted by key campus resource offices, including:
- Academic Advising
- Career and Employment Services
- Center for Writing and Learning
- Center for Student Support
- Counseling, Health, and Wellness Services
- Dining Services
- Experiential Learning
- Residential Life
- Student Financial Services
Throughout the day there will also be a chance to join other parents and family members in the Parent Lounge. Located in the Wilson Welcome Center, parents are encouraged to grab refreshments and mingle with other new Puget Sound parents.
Open House Sessions | 2:15 – 3:00 p.m.
End your day by visiting open house sessions across campus. This is your opportunity to connect with offices you may have missed and get any lingering questions answered.
