Environmental Health & Safety is responsible for various trainings across campus to ensure our campus community stays safe and healthy. 

  • Bloodborne Pathogen Training (PPT)
    The purpose of the Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) Training is to protect employees from exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) that may contain bloodborne pathogens. Last updated August 2022.
     
  • Heat Stress Prevention Training (PPT)
    This Heat Stress Prevention Program has been developed to provide workers with the training and information necessary to protect them from heat related exposure and illness. Last updated August 2022.
     
  • Slips, Trips, & Falls Training (PPT)
    The purpose of the Slips, Trips, & Falls Training is to ensure employees are protected from the often overlooked dangers of slipping and falling, and thus subsequent injuries that can occur in the workplace. Last updated August 2022.
     
  • Hazard Communication Training (PPT)
    The importance of this training is to inform student workers, staff, and faculty of the hazards and identities of chemicals they may be possibly exposed to, and the protective measures put in place to protect their wellbeing. Last updated July 2022.
