Your First Steps

Watch your university email! This summer, the university will be opening a new student survey, and we want to hear from YOU!

Set Up Your Accounts

Your student account is what you’ll use to pay your bills, access financial information, order transcripts, sign up for emergency alerts, and see everything you’ll need to do before arriving on campus. Before you do anything else, set it up.

  • Go to my.pugetsound.edu (log in with your username and password from the admission portal).

Once your student account is set up, log in to your new Puget Sound email account for important information and reminders.

  • In my.pugetsound.edu, go to My Information, choose Email Information, then click Activate Now.

  • Send your high school transcript.
  • Confirm that your health insurance provides coverage in Tacoma.
  • Follow us on social media.
  • Explore majors and academic requirements.

“SSI (Seminars in Scholarly Inquiry) 180 is one of the best classes I’ve taken here. The first half was our research paper, and the second half we essentially played out the French Revolution. It was a TON of fun and I learned a lot.”
