Join us for this annual, community favorite featuring the Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble with student conductors as we celebrate the close to this eventful, academic year.

Noon Convocation Student Recitals

Enjoy a variety of short performances by Puget Sound music students. This week's event will feature performances by Wyatt Logan '25 piccolo trumpet with Maxine McKinnell '26 piano; Madison Hening '26, violin; Katie Hayhurst '24, violin, with Isabella Jie, piano; and Alyssa Shane '25, piano.

Guest Artist Xiaohui Yang, piano recital

Join us for a piano recital featuring guest artist Xiaohui Yang, as part of the School of Music's Keyboard Series. Yang will perform works by Mozart, Faure, Brahms, Schoenberg, and more. 

Jacobsen Series: Alistair MacRae, cello

Enjoy a faculty recital featuring Alistair MacRae, cello; with Ronaldo Rolim, piano. The program will feature song transcriptions for cello and piano with works by Fauré, Duparc, Price, Wolf, and more.

All are invited to a reception following the program hosted by the SAI international music fraternity.

Harp Ensemble Concert

Join us for a free concert featuring the Community Music department's South Sound Strings Harp Ensemble directed by Patricia Wooster. Hear this an ensemble of ten harpists perform chamber works and harp literature in various musical styles.

Admission is free. No tickets required.

Grace Playstead, Flute in a Senior Recital

Grace Playstead '24, student of Karla Flygare majoring in Flute Performance, presents her senior degree recital featuring works by J.S. Bach, Hisatada Otaka, Carl Reinecke, and Yuko Uébayashi.

She is joined by collaborative pianist Kim Davenport and student performers Julia Vahey '24, Alex Westervelt '25, and Eliza Koch '24.

A Cascadian Spring at Benaroya Hall

Join School of Music students and faculty for a side-by-side performance of Copland's timeless Appalachian Spring, paired with works by Pacific Northwest composers Dell Wade and Miguel del Aguila.
