You will hear a variety of classical solo selections played by young children and teens. This recital is the first of two separate music recitals on the same day.

Surround yourself with art and music as the B Natural Clarinet Ensemble, directed by Jennifer Nelson, performs a concert celebrating the academic year.

Tacoma's own Vicci Martinez is a singer/songwriter with a musical style firmly rooted in the acoustic rock tradition, whose compositions are personal and often autobiographical. She placed 3rd in the premiere season of NBC's The Voice, and has since released multiple albums and received critical acclaim for her live performances. As an actress, Vicci received her big break portraying Daddy on the acclaimed Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Vicci is currently the voice of Frida Kahlo on the reboot of the animated comedy series Clone High on HBO Max.

A multi-fun event takes over Wheelock Student Center: featuring music by you and your friends, backed by a top notch band, Rockaraoke ("You Sing, We Play!) https://www.rockaraoke.com, a team of licensed massage therapists, student-generated phone filmclips, DIY crafts, and of course, free food and desserts. Presented by ASUPS and SIP.

Join us for Alex Westervelt '25 performing their junior flute recital with collaborative pianist Isabella Jie and guest Skyler Hedblom '25, doumbeck featuring works by Reinecke, MacDonald, and Borne. Alex is majoring in flute performance and is a student of Karla Flygare.

Join us for Chloe Montoya '24 performing their senior saxophone recital with collaborative pianist Jinshil Yi and guests Bennett Harper '26, piano; Sarah Beacock '26, drums; and Chris East '23, bass. Chloe is a music education major and a saxophone student of Erik Steighner and Tracy Knoop.
