All new, incoming pre-health students (first-year students and transfer students) are encouraged to attend this mandatory orientation meeting which will introduce pre-health students to Health Professions Advising.

All professional health program applicants who intend to apply to a professional health program within the next 1-2 years are required to attend this mandatory (virtual, via Zoom) meeting. The meeting will discuss the application process, including specific ways in which applicants will work with Health Professions Advising for guidance, support, and advising. 

All first-year and sophomore pre-health students are required to attend this mandatory meeting to discuss spring 2024 course registration information and guidance. 

The class of 2024 research projects will be presented in platform and poster format with time for interactions with students and networking with peers followed by a Clinical Education forum. Free Continuing Education credits will be awarded—registration will be limited for the first 50 clinical education community partners.

With a diverse offering of research-based evidence projects presented by second-year OT students and doctoral capstone presentations from third-year OTD students, you will enjoy an evening of collaboration, community, and conversation surrounding the practice and process of research in OT.

Join Sustainability Services on Sunday, April 16th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for restoration work, including weeding invasive species and planting native plants, in the Thompson Forest. Participants will get the chance to learn more about invasive and native plant species on campus from Carrie Woods, Professor of Biology, and DIRT the band (KUPS) will be performing a live concert!! Lunch and snacks will be provided!
