This public concert celebrates the musical achievements and learning that takes place during a five day music camp at the University of Puget Sound. Brass players ages 12-18 work throughout the week with expert university-affiliated faculty to get connected with other young musicians and develop their musical skills in a supportive, non-competitive environment. The camp is an annual program offered in partnership with Metro Parks Tacoma and the University's Community Music Department.

Pianist, Jieun Yun, will perform with young and adult singers as a collaborative artist.

This celebration is led by graduates from diverse backgrounds with support from University Chaplain Rev. Dave Wright ’96. All graduates and families are welcome to participate in the program in ways appropriate for their own spiritual and religious identities.

Academic Convocation is a celebration of student achievement and takes place on Saturday, May 10, at 2 p.m. in Schneebeck Concert Hall. The event will feature remarks by a student and faculty speaker and the presentation of university awards. Awards range from accolades for research, creative work, academics, and service to a department/program. Invitations to the students who will be recognized on stage or in the program will be sent by email on April 16, 2025.
