Learn about the different research opportunities available to you on Friday, October 3 at noon in TH 193. During this meeting, we will discuss how you can get involved in research in the different departments, including directed research, senior thesis, and summer research.
Each month, the Chaplaincy invites members of the campus community to a different contemplative practice, a way to pause mid-day and connect with a sense of something bigger than yourself. This month Dave Wright will lead a short time centering the story of the Japanese Cherry Trees alongside a guided breathing exercise. Gather on the sidewalk between the Sequoia and the Cherry Trees at 12:15; we'll wrap up by 12:45. This will involve walking on (hopefully dry) grass, so be mindful (ha!) of your footwear.

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to gather for the first Campus Coffee Break of the 2025-2026 Academic Year!
Campus Coffee Breaks are held monthly; this month’s is hosted by the Division of Student Affairs. There's a chill in the air and the leaves are starting to turn golden, so our theme is Welcome to Fall, Y'all!
This workshop, given by a staff member from the Tacoma Needle Exchange and the CHWS outreach and prevention team, will focus on how to test substances for the presence of fentanyl and will provide updates about opioid-related statistics in Pierce County.
