This month’s Coffee Break is hosted by the Office for Enrollment, and all students, faculty, and staff are warmly invited. We’ll have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot cider, and pastries to share.
To support sustainability, please bring your own mug if you’re able.
Blood Drive with Bloodworks Northwest
The Pre-Health Club is hosting a blood drive in partnership with Bloodworks Northwest. If you donate, you are entered into a raffle to possibly win a free 3-day trip to Oahu! You can use the link above to make an appointment to donate on April 8th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Rotunda. Walk-ins are welcome as well!
Peace Corps Prep Interest Meeting
Interested in the Peace Corps? University of Puget Sound has a long history as a top provider of postgraduate Peace Corps volunteers! Come learn about the Peace Corps, its history, its mission, and how you can increase your chances of getting into the Peace Corps through the Peace Corps Prep program! Professors Lea Fortmann and Jennifer Utrata will talk about their time in the Peace Corps! Pizza will be provided. 🍕🍕🍕
Taiko Club Performace and Bon Dance
Taiko drumming is a powerful, high-energy tradition that is moving through its loud sound. Bon dancing is used to honor, welcome, and comfort the spirit of deceased ancestors. Performances of both are included.
Japanese Tea Tasting
We will be trying three to four different types of high-class Japanese-style teas. You are invited to taste, learn, and explore through this demonstration hosted by Professor Mikiko Ludden.
My Life After Puget Sound: Alumni Talk
Let's hear from graduates who majored/minored in Japanese about the lives they are leading after graduation, their work, and whether they are using Japanese! Japanese refreshments will be served.
