The School of Music invites you to the 2025 Puget Sound Keyboard Weekend: A Survey and Demonstration of Keyboard Instruments presented by Wyatt Smith, American concert organist. This event is free and open to the public.
Residency: Reentry Theatre of Harlem
Re-Entry Theatre of Harlem (RTH) is an independent nonprofit based in NY, developed by and for people who have lived experiences in the US criminal legal system. The University will host Alex Anderson, founder of RTH and Rory Anderson, Assistant Art Director for one month during which they will visit students in their classrooms across Theatre Arts, Crime, Law and Justice studies and forge connections with local organizations working on arts and social justice.
Movie Screening & Discussion of "Sing Sing"
Come and join us for a campus screening of Sing Sing, the 2023 American prison drama film directed by Kreg Kwedar and based on the Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) program at Sing Sing maximum security prison. The film focusses on incarcerated men and the theatrical stage shows they develop together through the program. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Alex Anderson and Rory Anderson, alumni of RTA, the theatre program at Sing Sing prison, featured in the film.
Blues Vespers @ Kilworth: The Cold 102s
If you’re around for Fall Break, come by Kilworth Chapel at 5 p.m. for our monthly Blues Vespers event. Blues Vespers combines great local blues artists, a couple of poems, and a little something to think about. This month we’re welcoming the Cold 102s with special guests the Brian Feist Duo. Northwest High School Honor Choir Festival 2025
Enjoy a performance featuring high school choir students from throughout the region in the culmination of the School of Music's annual Northwest High School Honor Choir Festival. The program will include an opening performance by the Adelphian Concert Choir conducted by Steven Zopfi, followed by the High School Honor Choir conducted by this year's guest clinician William C. Powell.
Mini Maestros: Peter and the Wolf
Mini Maestros is a music concert series designed especially for children ages 2-8 and their families.
University of Puget Sound Community Music Department partners with Symphony Tacoma to present this interactive music event which includes a narrator and an instrument petting zoo prior to the concert!
The symphony orchestra will perform the time-honored classic, Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev.

Mini Maestros is a music concert series designed especially for children ages 2-8 and their families.
The University of Puget Sound Community Music Department partners with Symphony Tacoma to present this interactive music event which includes lots of learning, lots of music, and even an instrument petting zoo! Each concert in the series highlights a different family of instruments.
