Blues Vespers' Spring season at Kilworth Chapel continues as we welcome Polly O'Keary and the Rhythm Method to campus!

Blues Vespers is a Tacoma tradition for 25 years, and has held 8-9 events at Kilworth Chapel since 2019.  This is a public campus/community event hosted by University Chaplain Dave Wright and the founder of Blues Vespers, Pastor Dave Brown.  The series offers traditional Blues (and sometimes Bluegrass, Jazz, Americana, and more) by local artists paired with a little bit of poetry and a brief reflection by Dave or Dave.

Do the Right Thing is a 1989 American comedy-drama film produced, written and directed by Spike Lee. It stars Lee, Danny Aiello, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Richard Edson, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Nunn, John Turturro and Samuel L. Jackson and is the feature film debut of Martin Lawrence and Rosie Perez.

Aaron Kominos-Smith has appeared on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, Live at Gotham on the Oculus NextVR Network, MTV, and American Movie Classics. Audiences connect instantly with Aaron’s charming wit and energetic characters. His humor varies from observational thoughts on the mundane to articulated commentary about society sprinkled with a few dashes of wackiness. Simultaneously performing comedy and studying architecture in college, Aaron went on to work as a professional architect.
