As we settle into the 2026-27 Academic Year, I invite you to formally welcome our interim vice president for institutional equity and diversity, John Johnson, at a campus reception on Tuesday, September 22 at 3 p.m. As many of you know, Dr. Johnson joined us in July, and since then, he has been working diligently to learn about Puget Sound and advance the university's strategic goals for inclusive excellence. With the semester now underway, I hope you will take a moment to join me in extending a warm Logger welcome to Dr. Johnson to help him build deeper connections across our community and continue to advance this important work.
