Welcoming Interim Vice President for Institutional Equity & Diversity John Johnson

Dear Members of the Campus Community,

Please join me in welcoming John Johnson, Ph.D., our interim vice president for institutional equity and diversity, who officially joins our campus community today. As I shared in my campus message in April, Dr. Johnson joins the Puget Sound community from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he served as vice president for belonging and compliance, and brings 30 years of higher education experience as a student, faculty member, and senior administrator, including Cabinet-level positions at both Rhodes College and Whitman College.

We will host a welcome reception for him in early September and will share details about that event later this summer, but in the meantime, I hope you will take a moment to say hello to Dr. Johnson and extend a warm Logger welcome.
