Dear Members of the Campus Community,
It’s a great day to be a Logger!
Today is Logger Day Challenge—a day of celebration and pride for Loggers near and far. And we have a lot to celebrate!
You make it all possible: the research, discovery, and creative work that takes place across campus; the confidence and success our graduates have as they step into their careers and/or pursue advanced study; the guidance, mentorship and support of our students; and the sense of community that make Puget Sound the remarkable place it is.
Over the course of the past year, Puget Sound launched an Interdisciplinary Data Analytics minor, developed a hybrid option for our Master of Education in Counseling (MEd) program, was named one of the nation’s top undergraduate institutions by The Princeton Review, was featured in The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges, and was once again recognized as a College of Distinction for both our strong business program and exceptional career development services. We are so proud of our students, faculty, and staff who are making a difference on campus, in Tacoma, and in their fields of endeavor each and every day.
Please join us for the festivities taking place all day on campus, starting with our Campus Coffee Break hosted by the Division of University Relations! You can also check out our Logger Day Challenge video message from me here. I hope you will follow along today as our broader Logger community demonstrates their support, and that you feel inspired to show your own Logger pride at pugetsound.edu/
Be proud, Loggers! Thank you for all you do—for each other, our community, and the world. You truly make a difference.
Go Loggers!
