Dear Members of the Campus Community,

Thank you for your participation in our recent finalist interviews for the vice president for student affairs and dean of students position. I am delighted to share with you that Sarah Comstock has been appointed to this important role beginning March 14. I am grateful to Sarah for her strong and able leadership as our interim vice president. Her skills and experience are particularly well-suited to our needs at this time and I believe we will have in place an exceptionally talented leadership team to achieve our student affairs goals.

A press release with more information will be available shortly at pugetsound.edu. Meanwhile, I would like to thank the search committee for its excellent work in identifying a strong pool of candidates during an exceptionally competitive time in the field of student affairs management. With our Leadership for a Changing World strategic plan initiatives well underway, Puget Sound is positioned for success in recruiting, retaining, and graduating increasingly diverse and talented generations of Loggers.

We will host a congratulatory reception for Sarah on April 26 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in Rasmussen Rotunda. Please join us to celebrate her well-earned promotion.

Sincerely,

Isiaah
Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D. | President
