Dear Members of the Campus Community,

Thank you for your good feedback and responses to the draft vision, values, and goals provided by the Strategic Planning Steering Committee for your review. All responses have been compiled and forwarded to the committee for consideration.

I am also pleased to announce that teams comprised of Puget Sound faculty, staff, students, alumni , parents, and trustees have been appointed (in consultation with our ASUPS president and chairs of the Faculty Senate and Staff Senate) to develop recommended initiatives to support each of the five goals of the strategic plan. Thank you to all who have agreed to serve. A list of goal teams and co-chairs is available on the strategic planning website at pugetsound.edu/strategicplan.

Your continued engagement in this process is absolutely essential as we work to create a forward-looking strategic plan for Puget Sound that builds on the distinctive attributes of our campus and community. Please continue to send any questions, ideas, and concerns about our process to the Strategic Planning Steering Committee at strategicplan@pugetsound.edu.

Also, mark your calendars for the next Strategic Planning Community Conversation on Thursday, Jan. 18, 10–11 a.m., in the McCormick Room. Although I will be traveling for university business, our consultants, Pete Facione and Carol Gittens, will be available to provide updates and hear your thoughts.

Sincerely,

Isiaah
