A Sound Legacy: The Life and Art of Frances Chubb Exhibition

October 5 - November 7, 2015
Kittredge Gallery

Frances F. Chubb was an artist and art historian at the University of Puget Sound for 34 years, from 1942-1976, and it was fitting that an exhibition exploring her life and work initiated the celebration of Kittredge Hall’s anniversary. Chubb’s enduring spirit of collaboration between the teaching of both studio art and the history of art, as well as her enthusiasm for teaching are legacies that endure in our department. The exhibition was curated by Linda Williams with biographical text and assistance from John Finney and Laura Edgar.
