The Wind Ensemble is an auditioned, premier ensemble within the School of Music that brings together dedicated student musicians in a collaborative and supportive musical community. Throughout the academic year, members explore a wide-ranging repertoire, from cornerstone works to contemporary and newly commissioned music.
Through rehearsals, performances, and touring experiences, students grow as performers while working closely with faculty and student conductors, as well as collaborating with guest artists. Participation in the Wind Ensemble provides meaningful opportunities for artistic expression, shared learning, and the development of skills that support both professional music pathways and lifelong engagement with music.
