Piano Master Class with Winston Choi
Join us for a piano master class hosted by School of Music guest artist Winston Choi. Choi, a Canadian pianist, is associate professor of piano and the head of the piano program at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts. His professional career was launched when he was named Laureate of the 2003 Honens Piano Competition and winner of France’s Concours International de Piano 20e siècle d’Orléans in 2002.
Violin Master Class with Guest Artist Minghuan Xu
Join us for a violin master class featuring guest artist Minghuan Xu. Xu is program director of strings and assistant teaching professor of violin at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, where she has helped shape a vibrant, internationally recognized string program. Her studies were at institutions such as the Curtis Institute of Music, the Oberlin Conservatory, Northwestern University and Stony Brook University.

As part of the 2025 Puget Sound Keyboard Weekend, the School of Music is pleased to celebrate Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's 150th birthday with a concert featuring Puget Sound music faculty and students performing Coleridge-Taylor's complete Twenty Four Negro Melodies, Op.59. Blues Vespers @ Kilworth: The Cold 102s
If you’re around for Fall Break, come by Kilworth Chapel at 5 p.m. for our monthly Blues Vespers event. Blues Vespers combines great local blues artists, a couple of poems, and a little something to think about. This month we’re welcoming the Cold 102s with special guests the Brian Feist Duo.
