The discourse on reparations and landback are often talked about side by side but rarely intersect. This talk explores the contradictions and possibilities embedded on Black freedom and Indigenous sovereignty, why it matters, and dreams about the potential of collective resistance.
Mini Maestros: Once Upon a String

Jan 2023 Blues Vespers: Rod Cook & Toast
Blues Vespers @ Kilworth is back for its Spring '23 series! Campus and community members are invited to gather for this 25+ year Tacoma tradition featuring local (and sometimes national!) Blues musicians, some poetry, and a little something to think about. Hosted by the University Chaplaincy. The event is free and open to the public; most of our bands have a tip jar to support their gift of time and music.
Sunday Chapel @ Kilworth: Origin Stories
This semester the University Chaplaincy is offering a monthly spiritual gathering rooted in the radical, justice-seeking, love-building, peace-making ways of Jesus for anyone who wants to explore, question, wrestle with, celebrate, or seek community. These short (30-45 minute) Sunday morning gatherings will focus on a different theme each month, with liturgy, prayer, music, and a reflection by the University Chaplain or special guests.
