University of Puget Sound Showcased in Amazon Prime’s The College Tour

Tacoma, Wash. – University of Puget Sound will be featured in Amazon Prime’s popular series The College Tour beginning Feb. 8 and is now available to watch at pugetsound.edu/thecollegetour. The 30-minute episode takes a broad look at all aspects of the Puget Sound experience, designed to challenge and support students who seek to make a difference in the world.

“We are thrilled to showcase our vibrant campus, our passionate students, our expert faculty, and our accomplished alumni through The College Tour,” said Puget Sound President Isiaah Crawford. “Viewers will be inspired by the life-changing research, scholarship and creative work undertaken here, as well as an active campus community that is at the heart of our approach to residential liberal arts education.”

The College Tour provides prospective students a way to experience all that the university has to offer from the comfort of home. Segments cover a wide array of topics, including experiential learning and study abroad opportunities, campus living, state-of-the-art STEM programs, Logger athletics, arts and music, Puget Sound’s location in the heart of a dynamic city and its proximity to the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest, how Loggers are remaking the world, and how the alumni network supports students after graduation.

“The College Tour gives students considering Puget Sound another way to get a sense of our community,” said Matthew Boyce, Puget Sound’s vice president for enrollment. “Ultimately, we hope you’ll see yourself here and decide to join us.”

A nationally ranked liberal arts and sciences college, University of Puget Sound draws more than 2,000 students from around the country to its beautiful campus in Tacoma, Wash. The university’s featured turn in the latest season of The College Tour is one more way that potential students from across the United States and around the world can get a sense of life at Puget Sound. The Amazon Prime production also offers an avenue for those who may not be able to travel to Tacoma to learn more about the university’s offerings.

The College Tour, hosted by Alex Boylan, debuts on Amazon Prime on Tuesday, Feb. 8, but is available to stream now at pugetsound.edu/thecollegetour.
