Join the Slater Museum of Natural History for our second annual Darwin's Birthday Bash!

Ever wonder how different animals were domesticated? Why do some birds have such beautiful and complex plumage? And how did humans evolve anyway? Help us celebrate Charles Darwin's life and accomplishments while learning about evolution at our second annual Darwin's Birthday Bash, held just two days before his birthday on February 12th!

The free event will feature specimens from the Slater Collections, special guests from the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, children's activities, hands-on learning, dissection demonstrations, and guest scientists.

And since it's a birthday party - cake will be provided!
