Thank you for your interest in serving on the Integrity Board at the University of Puget Sound! We are excited about the possibility of working with you. Your application acknowledges this position’s commitment and responsibility to serve your peers by assisting with Integrity Board Hearings.
The Office of Student Accountability & Restorative Practices is crucial to the effective educational functioning of the University of Puget Sound. It is important to clearly outline the conduct process and all rights and responsibilities of students and strive towards a goal of accountability, self-reflection, and an understanding of consequences of actions and behavior in all conduct proceedings.
For cases that require an investigation, deemed more severe in nature, and/or cases in which the student, group, or organization has more than one prior student conduct case (with responsible findings), the student/group/organization will be assigned to an Integrity Board Hearing.
The Integrity Board will consist of three members, made up of students, faculty, and staff, as well as a process facilitator. Board members are trained to adjudicate alleged violations of the Student Integrity Code.

Confidentiality and Discretion: composed, willing to take an unpopular stand, able to support one's ideas, strong self-concept. Integrity Board Members may not disclose proceedings, outcomes, or information about any integrity board hearings. Any breach would result in disciplinary action, including possible discharge from your position.

QUALIFICATIONS
In order to be considered for a student position on the Integrity Board you must meet the following qualifications.

Good academic and behavioral standing at the time of application and throughout the term of appointment.

Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student

Attend all training sessions

Be able to attend assigned integrity board hearings throughout the year.

To avoid a conflict of interest, students may not also simultaneously hold one of the following positions: Resident Assistant, Resident Community Coordinator, ASUPS Senate Representative, ASUPS Executive branch or work for Security Services.
