Spring 2024

The Center for Writing & Learning will be open for 50-minute appointments starting Tuesday, September 5. To make an appointment yourself, please follow the instructions on our Request an Appointment page. Students are also more than welcome to 1) call us at 253.879.3404, 2) email us at cwlappointments@pugetsound.edu or 3) stop by Howarth 105 to make appointments.

Tutor bios and hours are below.

Each tutor hosts drop-in hours for their respective subject where students may stop by to meet with the tutor without an appointment. Drop-In times are listed with each tutor's schedule.

When we have multiple tutors in the same discipline, we have listed classes that tutors have experience in within their majors below their hours. While subject tutors have the skills to be helpful in a wide variety of classes, we know that it’s sometimes helpful to meet with tutors who have taken a specific course, especially for upper-division electives. Use the course information to find the tutor who is the best fit for you!

I know how easy it is to let despair sink in when you’re not understanding physics and math right away, and I’m here to help break things down so they aren’t as overwhelming to tackle. Come by to get frustrations out, work through homework, review for a test, nerd out, or just chat– whatever floats your boat!

Hope to see you there!
