Dear Members of the Campus Community,
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Kimberly Kvaal, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Victor Martin, vice president for university relations, who officially join Puget Sound today. Kim and Victor’s appointments were announced earlier this year following extensive national searches, and both of them have been in regular contact with me and their respective leadership teams throughout the spring to prepare for a smooth transition to Puget Sound. We will plan an official welcome reception for them in the early fall, and I know they look forward to getting to know their fellow Loggers over the summer.
I am deeply appreciative of the outstanding work of our finance, administration, and university relations colleagues over this past year in very challenging circumstances, and particularly grateful to Sherry Mondou and Dave Beers for their leadership and many contributions during this most extraordinary time.
