Crosscurrent’s Magazine is the University of Puget Sound’s premier literary and arts journal. Founded in 1958, Crosscurrents showcases the best prose, poetry, and art works the student body has to offer. As an entirely student run organization, the magazine offers students a creative outlet and the opportunity for their work to be traditionally published. Each issue is completely unique, and is designed by a passionately creative staff. Crosscurrents is printed biannually and is available for free. Back issues can be found through Collins Library.
Crosscurrents is perfect for anyone who enjoys art and writing across all mediums and genres. Each week, we discuss poetry, prose, and art submissions we’ve received from Puget Sound students, and vote on which pieces we believe would be best suited for our magazine. Led by a team of deeply inspired and compassionate editors, Crosscurrents review is a fun and casual way to share your own work, and see the creative work of your peers. We ensure that our meetings are welcoming to all, regardless of experience or skill level, and we encourage anyone interested in the campus’ creative community to stop in at any point in the semester!
