The following scholarships require an application for consideration. Please review each one carefully and be sure to submit all required application materials by the deadline through the Google Form. Reach out to Joan Potter in Student Financial Services with questions or concerns.
Students receiving full tuition or meeting-full-need scholarships would not be eligible to receive additional aid as the below scholarships must be applied towards tuition and unmet need. Any additional institutional scholarships would reduce grant aid already awarded.
Collier Interdisciplinary Scholarship
Students pursuing interdisciplinary studies drawing on both the sciences and non-science disciplines.
Collier Pleneurethic Scholarship
Students pursuing studies in the fields of philosophy, literature, history, mathematics, or natural sciences.
Hurley Community Service Scholarship
Students engaging in planned and focused community service projects.
Harry Cain Memorial Scholarship
Students who plan to enter the field of public administration or public service.
Identity-Based Clubs' Scholarships
This application applies to the following awards: the Asian/Pacific Islander Scholarship, the Black Student Union's One More Scholarship, and the Sin Fronteras Leadership Scholarship. These scholarships were established by ASUPS identity-based student-organizations and all current undergraduate students are welcome to apply.
LGBTQ+ Leadership Scholarship
Students who demonstrate and involvement in the LGBTQ+ community. Scholarship was established by alumni of Puget Sound and all current undergraduate students are welcome to apply.
Kathy Phibbs Memorial Scholarship
Students who enjoy outdoor activities, are voracious readers, and have a strong interest in history.
Spiritual & Religious Life Scholarships & Mentorships
This application applies to the following awards: Religious Leadership Award, Spiritual Life Leaders Mentorship, Cyrus Ames Wright Scholarship, and K. James Davis Chaplain's Award for Spirituality & Justice. These scholarships were established for students interested in both on-campus and lifelong spiritual and religious leadership. All current undergraduates are welcome to apply.
Women's League Scholarships
This application applies to the following awards: Dr. Franklin & Lucille Thompson Scholarship, the Women's League Scholarship, and the Centennial Scholarship. These scholarships were established by the University of Puget Sound Women's League (formed in 1900) to support students who demonstrate academic merit, financial need, and participation in extracurricular activities. This application is open to all current undergraduate students, including med.
